Anything by Luc Besson gets my automatic attention. From The Professonial to Taken, the man knows how to tell a tale.

The same goes for Michelle Yeoh. Mind you the main reason I love to watch her on the big screen is not only for the fact that she is one of the most stunning in the world, she brings a grace to movies that is sorely lacking today.

The trailer for Besson's latest, The Lady starring Yeoh has just dropped and while it doesn't look like his normal fare of filmmaking, the glimpse we get of it is stunning, epic and definitely has my attention.

Here is the official synopsis:

The Lady is the extraordinary story of Aung San Suu Kyi and her husband, Michael Aris. It is also the story of the peaceful quest of the woman who is at the core of Burma’s democracy movement. Despite distance, long separations, and a dangerously hostile regime, their love endures until the very end. It’s a story of devotion and human understanding set against a backdrop of political turmoil that continues today. The Lady was written over a period of three years by Rebecca Frayn. Interviews with key fig ures in Aung San Suu Kyi’s entourage enabled her to reconstruct for the first time the true story of Burma’s national heroine.
